Marc Byrnes is a distinguished business leader and philanthropist, known for his extensive career in the insurance sector and his significant civic engagement in Northeast Ohio. He is an alumnus of University School, Class of 1972, and received the school's Distinguished Alumni of the Year Award in 2012. Byrnes previously served as Chairman and CEO of Oswald Companies, a prominent independent insurance brokerage firm. He is also recognized for his deep commitment to philanthropy, notably with the United Way of Greater Cleveland, where he received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2022.
